At Huntington Gate Chateau, we strive to promote independence in living when possible, to assist when needed, and to promote and encourage each resident to reach his/her potential in physical, emotional, spiritual growth, and well-being.
Huntington Gate Chateau takes pride in creating a support system tailored to our resident’s needs. Before our residents move in, we conduct a pre-admission appraisal to ensure you or your loved one will receive the kind of service needed.
We are fully aware of the changes that happen as time pass by, so we conduct subsequent appraisals and offer new services plan.

Assisted Living Includes:
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, medication and more
- Food services:
- Three nutritious meals and two snacks daily
- Special diets prescribed by a doctor
- Medication administration
- Housekeeping
- Assist in booking a beautician, podiatrist, etc.
- Organized recreational activities
- 24-hour security and assistance
Hospice Care
Hospice care is available to individuals who are experiencing a severe illness and choose to forgo curative treatment.
We ensure that we provide compassionate care so that they may live as comfortably as possible. Today, we are the only hospice service provider in Poway, California with 6 licensed beds.
Hospice Care Includes:
- Personalized care plans according to the patient’s diagnosis
- Assistance with taking prescribed and over-the-counter medications
- Therapy, emotional and pastoral support
- Bedside care and tray service for minor temporary illnesses or recovery from surgery
- 24/7 top-notch assistance
Residential Activities
Huntington Gate Chateau provides various activities to help residents maintain and develop their fullest potential.
Activities include:
- Flexibility exercises in the morning
- Playing bingo
- Attending religious services
- Birthday/special parties for the residents
- Musical events
- Pet therapy visits
